Goal Setting
1. Goal: Promoting Your Physical HealthWhat are you doing to promote your physical health? Our physical bodies are available to us only for a certain number of years. What we do with our bodies now affects our physical well being in future years. If we excersize and take vitamins that promote health and well being, we will feel better about living. It's important that we take care of our body; get lots of sleep, excersize, eat at least 2 meals per day, drink lots of water, take vitamins, spend time with loved ones, have a means of supporting oneself and a healthy mental outlook on life. Having a positive outlook on life is important because what you believe affects your moods, physical being and mental thoughts. If you believe you can... you can... if you believe the opposite then that becomes your reality also. Listen to people who are doing what you want to do and believe that you can accomplish similar goals.
2. Financial Resources/Wealth:
As long as you have your health you are very wealthy. In goal setting, it is important to know where you have been in order to know where you are going. Drinking lots of soda pop usually is not only very fatting, it also is not good for your bones. If you have been a heavy soda pop drinker (where you have been) you can cut those calories out (where you are) without too much thought. If you are overweight you still have the oportunity to drink water and excersize. If you are thinking of increasing your financial skills, what hobbies or skills do you have that can be used to generate new and lasting income for yourself and your family? Can you give a self-supporting class a community college or do an online internet class? How much time are you willing to give up to get to those new financial income goals? What life building tools will you be using to generate that income?
3. Environment:
In order to be truly productive we need to spend time in an environment that is conducive to thinking and working. Setup your computer work space so that you are able to concentrate on your plans and goals without interuption. Place goal setting information in a place where you can see it daily. Sometimes we lose our focus but a visual reminder can help us focus in on what we want to be thinking about. Setup a few hours each day to focus on your goals. How much time are you going to spend planning out what you'd like to have happen in your future. Are you planning on developing better communications with your loved ones? Are you planning on learning more about the world you live in? Are you planning on spending more time with your pets? The universe mirrors back what we put out to it. How we communicate with our loved ones is mirrored back to us. In order to make good decisions we need to be informed, so spend some time listening to new information. You can listen to this information in the car, before you sleep, just before you wake up. Get your focus back by knowing what you want to have happen in your life and then put all your energy and thoughts into making your goals happen.
4. Mental Focus:What are you willing to give up in terms of time in order to get a new mental tool. What field of knowledge are you interested in. If you are unsure of where your interest lies, what new class will you take or what new book will you pick up in order to explore new possibilities? What new plan of action will you follow to promote health, ease of life and prosperity for yourself and your family?
5. Creating Your Plan of Action:
Set a few minutes aside each day to create your plan of action. List out the steps of your major goals and then underneith the major goals list out the minor steps it takes to reach your goals. Use visual diagrams, create lists, write down your goals and then set up timeframes when you wish to have the goals accomplished. Don't expect every goal you set to be met within a certain timeframe. It's best to be flexible, try different paths to get to the same outcome. We all have circumstances that help us or heed our progress. One of the major goals in your plan of action is the "determination to succeed". Another goal is to have a "backup plan" in case one of your goals is momentarily side-tracked. How will you setup your marketing and planning guide this year? Will you be using only the written word or will you be using audio and multimedia vehicles to market and promote your product?
6. Follow-Through
Don't give up, follow-through. Every step leads you closer to your goal. Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. "There is no time like the present" to follow-through on your plans towards your success goals. Sometimes we are attracted to certain goals. Listen within and follow your dreams.

We create our mental images and with every thought reinforce what we believe to be. We assume a mental and physical posture that reflects our thoughts and state of being.
The people or souls around us can intentionally or unintentionally tune into our thoughts and vibrations. They often fulfill and reinforce what we believe about ourselves.
If we believe that we are alone, those around us often move away from us in response to what we are reflecting to the souls around us.
We are here to learn the laws of spirit. This often means we learn the ways of spirit when we are at a loss to solve our daily problems. When life is happy and complete, we are looking towards our outer world in anticipation instead of to our inner spiritual world to understand why we are here. Those without security often feel that their life rests upon a precarious ledge. If you cannot find the spiritual answer to your quest then the physical world overwhelms you and your mental outlook is not what it should be because our emotions cloud and hide the inner messages that are waiting to emerge from the within.
What can you do when you feel an imbalance in your life? If
you do not know how to travel within, then you must rest your
mind. In sleep you will travel within and when you awake you
will have more energy to tackle your problems.
If you are very depressed and this happens because as they say
it is always darkest before the dawn, then you should find
something to eat. You must take care of the physical body
because that is your vehicle in this world. When you eat a
balanced meal and drink plenty of water, you will feel energized
again and ready to tackle your problems.
In solving some of your problems it is best to assume the mental
position thet your problems are already solved. Create a picture
in your mind and see your problems resolving themselves. Image
you are feeling positive again and create a trigger for yourself
to attract prosperty and health into your life.
Some people create an image or chant a word that helps them keep
their positive affirmation directly where they can see or hear
the trigger.
If you need mental clarity, create a symbol and below the
picture write the word "focus".
If you are depressed then think of others who are feeling
depressed also and send out positive thoughts to them and create
an affirmation to yourself that your depression is leaving you.
Your depression is leaving you and you will move on to a
positive space within you. If you are still feeling depressed,
drink lots of water and move to another room and create a
different atmosphere in the new room. We often connect places
with our thoughts. If you need a new thought move to a different
place so you can create better thoughts. Energies often linger
where we leave them. Try and create positive energies even
though you might be feeling the opposite. We assume the posture
of feeling well and then our mental and physical form attaches
itself to the ideas that we move forward with.
It is easy to fall victim to negative circumstance and life
throws us impossible problems that seem overwhelming. Somehow
with time and patience we are able to get threw most of life's
problems. It is how we feel about ourselves during this process
that makes us feel well or makes us feel unwell. We need to
"Focus" on feeling well because there is nothing more important
than you're health.
Spiritual Reality - Pt7
Listen-Within To Find Your Moment... Relax... Breathe
Finding your personal moment of relaxation to listen-within can be a challenge. It's the moment you've been waiting for all day. Everyone has gone to bed, the house is quiet and secure, you've put all thoughts of problems on a shelf too high for reaching and you've found your moment to relax... Breathe.. and to enjoy your moment of peace.
Some people have a hard time relaxing...they have been busy with the family, work, bills, and often times feel depressed and anxiety ridden because for some there seems to be more problems than solutions to daily tasks. Quick Tips: If you are feeling emotional... drink lots of water. If you are feeling tired...walk outside and hug a tree. If you are feeling disconnected from the world....pet a cat... walk a dog...feed a raven and smell a flower (or scented candle if it is winter).
Close your eyes, take a deep inward breath... relax and let your breath go... and close your eyes and listen-within. If you are having trouble focusing and letting go of the outer...ypu might use a candles mesmerizing flame against a clear sphere (use the sphere... such as a crystal ball to ground negative and noisy thoughts by holding on tightly to the sphere for a few seconds... then relax your grip and tensions and focus to keep your mind still so you can listen-within. )

What do all living entities have in common?
They must breath in the spiritual flow of life.
What happens when we no longer breathe?
Our spirit leaves this body.
Our soul rides upon the spiritual currents back to the ocean of
love and mercy.
The light of Spirit is always with us.
Imagine a spiritual energy field surrounding your body.
This energy field is what propels the physical body through this
plane of existence.
In this physical body we are constrained by time and space.
When we sleep, soul leaves this body and travels on the inner
planes.
As there is no time or space on the inner planes... travel is
done at the speed of thought.
So why did we as soul come to this world and take on a physical
body?
To Breath...
What could be better than flowing as soul thru the spiritual
ocean of love and mercy?
Taking on form, taking on a physical body... experiencing breath
as a physical form.
This is not Souls true home.
We exist here for a short time only.
As soul we do not need a physical body to exist.
We are bound by our thoughts to this place,
We are bound by our love to our family, our community and our
life beliefs.
We are bound by our daily matrix of living patterns.
Then we are released from this place.
Our spiritual flow is once again revitalized and renewed by
joining with other souls.
In the spiritual ocean of love and mercy
Spirit takes many forms
Here is an exercise that will help brighten your day:
"At the moment of waking up,
before getting out of bed,
get in touch with your breath,
feel the various sensations in your body,
note any thoughts and feeling that maybe present,
let mindfulness touch this moment,
Can you feel your breath?
Can you perceive the dawning of each in breath?
Can you enjoy the feeling of the breath freely
entering your body in this moment?
“Breathe in I smile,
breathe out I calm my body,
dwelling in the present moment,
it is a wonderful moment.”
Spirit takes many forms to speak to us.
Imagine the form that
you are most comfortable with and listen-within.

Can it be that we are all aboard a ship that is lost at sea?
Everyday we wake to the same sea of lifetime patterns that come showering down upon us, and we punish ourselves with habits that move our ships side to side upon the waves of life. We are trying to move our ship forward in space and time while we try to remain in a balanced state so that we can retain our health and breathe easily.
The problem that most of us are facing is that there is no more time and space. We have run out of solutions to the deepening and towering waves that are crashing down upon us. There are no solutions when you are riding aboard a lost ship. In this human form we can only live for a short time before we are required to change form. We must move into unknown spaces and travel like a lost ship until we meet our future... perhaps a future that we had not planned upon or expected.
How we travel is as important as our destination. Life is a journey and we all want to travel in the best ship and yet the ship we travel in is often neglected.. and sometimes does not receive the best of care.
Of course I am talking about our human body... it is the ship that
carries you forward in this life. We have the opportunity to take good
care of our bodies.. but often the body like a well worn ship will break
down and need repair.
We need to find a port in the storm so that we can repair our spiritual
bodies. Yes there is more than just this body... but there are bodies
within bodies that all have ports of destination... Each body has a
connection between the other bodies that reside on different planes.
This is why there is precognition, second sight, hunches, and feelings
that lead us to make decisions in the middle of the night when there are
no known better choices to be made.
Why do some people travel between bodies.... or have dream experiences?
Why do some people recall their experiences on a different plane of
existance and other people do not remember where they have been?
Is it a matter of recollection... or a matter of focus and intention to
remember and bring back what we have learned in another sphere of life?
As with most of life.. there are those that must test and study what
they do not understand. People who are learners often write down their
dreams and try to understand the meaning of life. There are other people
who just move through life as if it were a dream, working their life
away, following preconceived expected patterns of thought... so it would
take a great effort for them to change... to try and understand
something unfamiliar, unknown and new.
Like a lost ship in the night, we are all riding upon the waves light
and sound. We can focus upon the darkness of the night or we can look
for moonlight to guide us towards a future port. The purpose of
meditation and spiritual contemplation is to create healthful results.
If we keep our ship (our body) tuned by listening to the sound current
within, we have an opportunity to glide forth into our future knowing
somewhere and sometime soon we shall soon see the inner light. With
knowledge comes understanding and awareness. In a world where we feel so
alone... we suddenly find we are not alone... we are surrounded and
enveloped in spirit. We can find inner peace...relax and know that our
journey takes us forward no matter how hard we try to go backwards.
There is no past and there is no future... there is only this moment. We
can only live in the present... that's why life is called a gift. This
moment will never come again, so make it a good moment. You can direct
your ship anywhere you choose, the path you are on was written before
you were born., yet it's your ship, you can make choices. This is your
life's journey and even if you've made a few wrong choices, know that
you have made a few right choices also. Every day is a new day, don't
look backwards or forwards only look to this present moment to make your
life's journey a joy and worth remembering.
Spiritual Reality - Pt6
Meditation for some is a cure for depression, a peaceful interlude from the stresses of life and for most a healthful way to relax and to achieve some peaceful moments that can only be found when we listen-within.
It has been found to achieve good results with meditation you should choose a particular time per day and a particular place to meditate. This quiet time becomes a daily exercise that will help you relax and focus as you listen-within.
Find a relaxing position either sitting on a chair or on the floor and close your eyes. Take a deep relaxing breath... hold it for a few seconds and then let your breath out slowly. With your eyes closed you are looking upward within the darkness towards the spot between your eyebrows.
The spot we are looking towards is at the top of the triangle, your two eyes form the base of the triangle and the point of our focus is in the center of your eyebrows.
Breath deeply, hold a few seconds and then as you expel your breath... feel and see all the negativity leaving your body. You are releasing all negative thoughts and images and picturing them floating away from you.
You are emptying you're daily thought patterns... there must be room for spirit to enter... Relax.. Let go... let the quietness of spirit enter your being.
You now are experiencing a quiet peaceful moment...
Experiencing a peaceful moment might be all you take away from your experience. If you truly want more... you must ask within for experience with the light and sound.
You must wait and have the expectation that spirit will reveal itself to you in the form of the light and sound.
Mediation in the same spot... at the same time... will help you start to focus within.. There are ways to travel within... and most of us have not even traveled to many places in this outer world, and who is to say that your inner world cannot be even more beautiful than the outer world.
Do you like to discover new places?
Be patient because as with any journey you must train yourself to walk upon an unfamiliar path in order to learn something new. When venturing forth, what gifts will you bring and trade to those that you meet on your path? Will you bring the gifts of positive thought, spiritual attitude and inner peace? If you happen upon a teacher who offers you spiritual knowledge, you will have to give some of your love and the gifts already mentioned above so that it is possible to walk within the light and sound of the spiritual worlds. You can make it happen... if you look and listen-within.
